Bella Africa is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and transforming families across Africa. We mobilize financial, human, and material resources to support initiatives for the transformation of women and their whole families.
We serve girls and young women in underprivileged areas in sub-Saharan Africa, tackling the challenges of poverty and gender that limit their opportunities. Our comprehensive approach addresses the root causes of inequality and creates pathways for sustainable change.

Meet Our Founder & CEO
Dalida Couturier
Founder & CEO
Dalida Couturier is the founder of Bella Africa, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to advancing economic empowerment and generational transformation for women across Africa.
Born in Ghana, Dalida's journey is rooted in both heritage and global perspective. She began her education at Government Secretariat School before continuing at Dartington College, later gaining international experience through her work with the United Nations, where she contributed to development initiatives with far-reaching impact.
In 2023, she established Bella Africa with a clear and ambitious vision: to invest in women as catalysts for lasting change. Under her leadership, the organization has implemented high-impact, scalable projects across Ghana, from vocational training programs to women-led industrial and agricultural enterprises, each designed to foster financial independence, leadership, and long-term community growth.
Dalida Couturier represents a new generation of philanthropy, one that is deeply personal, results-driven, and committed to sustainable legacy. By combining strategic investment with grassroots execution, she is redefining what it means to give: not simply to support, but to empower, elevate, and transform.
Her mission is clear: to unlock opportunity, restore dignity, and build a more beautiful future for generations of African women.
